DMCA and content removal

What this page is for
Remote Jobs Switzerland shows content that comes from others: submissions by users, and photos, logos and icons collected from public sources. If something here infringes your copyright or should not be online for another reason, this page says how to have it removed. There is no fee and no form beyond the contact form.
Copyright notice
Send a notice through the contact form that contains:
- the work you say is infringed, or a representative list if there are several
- the exact address of the page on Remote Jobs Switzerland where it appears
- your name and a way to reach you
- a statement that you believe in good faith that the use is not authorised by the rights holder, their agent or the law
- a statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information is accurate and that you are the rights holder or authorised to act for them
- your physical or electronic signature
What happens next
We act on a complete notice promptly, normally within a few days: the content is removed or disabled, and where we can we tell whoever submitted it, who may reply with a counter-notice. An incomplete notice gets a reply asking for what is missing. After a complete counter-notice we restore the content no sooner than ten and no later than fourteen business days after receiving it, unless the claimant tells us first that they have filed for a court order against the person who submitted it.
Counter-notice
If your content was removed by mistake, send a counter-notice through the contact form that contains:
- the address of the page where the content appeared before it was removed
- a statement, under penalty of perjury, that you believe in good faith it was removed through mistake or misidentification
- your name, address and telephone number
- your consent to the jurisdiction of the United States federal court for the district of your address or, if you are outside the United States, of any federal district in which we may be found, and your agreement to accept service of process from the claimant
- your physical or electronic signature
Repeat infringers
Email addresses, accounts and sources that repeatedly submit infringing content are blocked.
Other removal requests
Not every removal is about copyright. Use the same contact form for:
- a page about you, your company or your property that you did not authorise or that is wrong
- your personal data inside someone else's submission
- defamation or a trademark issue
- something you submitted yourself and want withdrawn
Misuse of this process
A knowingly false notice or counter-notice can make you liable for damages, under 17 U.S.C. 512(f) and under Swiss law. We may ignore notices that are plainly abusive.
