Dispatcher (m/f/d) Charter and Groupage Freight

Your tasks ###

• Independent dispatching and control of national and international charter, groupage, part-load, and full-load transport
• Planning and organization of pickup and delivery dispatching in local transport
• Efficient dispatching of vehicles and tours in local and long-distance transport under economic and legal specifications
• Purchase and sale of freight space as well as selection and use of suitable carriers
• Communication and coordination with customers, drivers, and transport partners to ensure smooth transport processes
• Processing of customer inquiries, daily price inquiries/offers, and complaints
• Shipment tracking and monitoring of timely and high-quality transport execution
• Ensuring compliance with legal regulations, customer requirements, and internal quality standards
• Documentation and follow-up of transport orders as well as maintenance of data in the transport management system

Your profile ###

• Completed commercial training, ideally as a specialist in freight forwarding and logistics services or a comparable qualification
• Professional experience in the dispatching of land transport, preferably in charter and/or groupage freight
• Good geographical knowledge of Germany and Europe
• Strong organizational talent as well as a structured, independent, and solution-oriented way of working
• Strong communication skills, negotiation skills, and high customer orientation
• Confident handling of common MS Office applications as well as ideally experience with a transport management system (TMS)
• Very good German skills as well as good English skills in speaking and writing
