Job Description ##

As a Financial Controller, you will take on a central role in the finance department and support management with sound analyses and meaningful decision-making bases. Your tasks will include, among others:

• Creation of regular analyses, reports, and forecasts as well as preparation of relevant decision-making bases for management
• Responsibility for the budgeting and forecasting process as well as support in the creation and assessment of business cases
• Ensuring meaningful management reporting according to IFRS
• Monitoring central financial and corporate key figures as well as identification of optimization and improvement potentials
• Support with monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
• Further development of existing controlling processes, systems, and reporting structures
• Close cooperation with internal stakeholders and various business units

The Successful Applicant ##

• Completed studies in Finance, Controlling, Accounting (Fachausweis) or a comparable further education, for example, dipl. Controller:in, CIMA, ACCA, or eidg. dipl. Expert:in
• At least 3 years of professional experience in controlling or financial accounting with an interest in entering controlling, ideally in an SME environment or a corporate group
• Very good Excel skills as well as a sound understanding of financial accounting and relevant booking logics
• Good knowledge of German as well as English at at least B2 level
• Strong analytical and conceptual skills as well as a structured and solution-oriented way of working
• Strong communication personality with strong team orientation and initiative
• Advantageous but not a must:
• * Experience with Power BI or comparable reporting and analysis tools
• Knowledge in consolidation and IFRS
• Affinity for process optimization, digitalization, and the further development of finance systems
