I am recruiting for a renowned international group based in the canton of Fribourg for a 100% Team Leader Accounting in CDI.

This opportunity is intended for a senior accounting profile wishing to evolve towards more leadership responsibilities or for a person who already has initial supervisory experience. Formal management experience is not indispensable if you have demonstrated your ability to coordinate, support, train, or coach employees.

Beyond technical skills, we are looking for a unifying, accessible, and team-oriented personality, capable of creating a positive dynamic while maintaining a high level of demand.

Job Description ##

Management and team support

• Supervise, support, and develop a team of generalist accountants
• Organize priorities and coordinate activities to ensure deadlines are met
• Provide technical support on complex accounting issues
• Participate in the skill development of employees through coaching and knowledge sharing
• Foster a positive and collaborative team dynamic

Accounting and closings

• Supervise the accounting activities of several entities under your responsibility
• Actively participate in monthly and annual closings
• Prepare and validate certain complex accounting entries
• Analyze results and contribute to financial reporting
• Ensure the quality and reliability of the financial data produced

Business Partnering and projects

• Be the preferred interlocutor for various internal stakeholders on general accounting matters
• Participate in continuous improvement and process optimization projects
• Contribute to the strengthening of internal control and compliance with the group's accounting rules
• Collaborate regularly with various interlocutors in an international environment

The Successful Applicant ##

• Federal diploma of specialist in finance and accounting or equivalent training
• Proven experience in general accounting
• Experience acquired within an international group, an industrial environment, or a firm with exposure to complex clients
• Solid knowledge of Swiss accounting standards and ideally IFRS
• Professional level in English B2
• Very good mastery of Excel and an ERP (SAP is an asset)
