What you can contribute

• Lead, as chief architect, ambitious IT projects concerning platform architectures (PaaS) and application integration
• Design and continue to develop modular, high-availability software architectures for essential business applications meeting high security requirements
• Combine applications, platforms, and systems within a coherent global solution using integration architectures and interfaces
• Develop and evolve software architectures for large-scale projects, in collaboration with clients and stakeholders
• Define architecture models as well as standards for platforms and integration
• Advise development teams and technical actors on questions concerning architecture, software, and integration

What makes you unique

• Higher degree (HES, EPF or university) in computer science or an equivalent background
• Several years of experience in multi-tier, high-availability architectures of critical security importance, ideally in the Java/Spring environment
• Experience in leading architectural aspects in complex projects and experience in managing stakeholder interactions
• Strong analytical and conceptual skills, taste for strategic work
• Developed communication skills, personality experienced in consulting, coaching, and knowledge transfer
• Good active knowledge of two official languages and good knowledge of English

In this function, you will actively participate in the design of the architecture of the IT systems of the DFJP, contributing to defining their strategic direction. Thanks to your expertise, you will ensure the development, integration, and operation of complex applications, according to principles of sustainability, security, and innovation.

The CSI-DFJP IT Service Center is the central provider of IT services for the Federal Department of Justice and Police (DFJP).
