Your tasks

• Participation in the further development of the brand «Aarau» and implementation of core messages in operational communication
• Editorial planning and creation of B2C communication content including emotional storytelling - from the website to social media, tailored to the respective target group
• Active management of social media platforms including photo and video content (Reels/Shorts), community management, as well as collaborations with service providers and influencers
• Content creation for aarauinfo.ch, asf-aarau.ch, the newsletter, and the Landanzeiger page «Aarau erleben»
• Media work including the creation of press releases
• Coordination and creation of the annual report and Christmas newspaper
• Success monitoring of communication measures as well as support for tourism projects

Your profile

• Training in the field of marketing and/or communication as well as further training in the field of social media
• 3 to 5 years of professional experience in communication
• Excellent German skills with a high affinity for writing for different target groups; French and English skills are an advantage
• Confident handling of MS Office, CMS, social media planning tools, Canva, and mobile editing tools
• Creative, independent, and structured way of working with an eye for visuals and a sense for trends
• Charismatic, outgoing, and team-oriented personality with a close connection to Aarau
