Customer Logistics Manager (m/f/d) – global market / supply chain / SAP / pharma
Background: The Global Supply Chain Operations Organization centrally manages supply, inventory, and replenishment planning for drug products, connecting markets directly to the global manufacturing network. Within this end-to-end framework, the Customer Logistics Manager is responsible for trading and delivering semi-finished(SEMP) and finished products (FG) to third-party customer markets worldwide. This role ensures high service levels, right-first-time order fulfillment, and fullcompliance for product and document supply. Key responsibilities includecoordinating upstream replenishment, maintaining master data and supply chain
setups, optimizing the cost-to-serve model, and leveraging data analytics andtechnology to drive efficiency and meet service goals in collaboration with local and global stakeholders.
The Perfect Candidate The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor’s degree with further education or specialized
training in Supply Chain Management. They bring a minimum of 5 years ofprofessional supply chain operational experience within a pharmaceuticalenvironment, accompanied by strong logistics expertise. Proficiency in SAP,Microsoft Office, and AI tools is required, along with professional-level English skills
(German language skills are a plus). While GMP experience is beneficial, it is notmandatory. The candidate should demonstrate a solid track record of using datadriveninsights to manage supply metrics and collaborate effectively with crossfunctionalteams.
Tasks & Responsibilities:
•
Ensure global market supply to third party customers on time in full at the right quality and cost
•
Partner with different interfaces for upstream replenishment coordination from central packaging
•
Continuously improve the cost-to-serve-model (incl. KPI metrics).
•
Leverage data for decision making by using e.g. analytics, simulation tools and customer insights
•
Drive efficiency through identifying value-adding and productivity-enhancing opportunities through technology and data
•
Collaborate with different functions in the markets to understand the changes which may impact supply to the country and align with planning functions to adjust the Replenishment Plan
•
Ensure appropriate supply chain set-up (incl. e.g. master data)
Must Haves:
•
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics,
•
Minimum 5 years of professional experience in Supply Chain Management
•
and Operations within the pharmaceutical industry.
•
SAP, Microsoft Office, and familiar with AI-driven supply chain
•
tools/analytics.
•
Professional fluency in English (written and spoken); German is a plus.
