Your contribution

• Serve as the main interlocutor for personnel with management functions at the Headquarters and abroad for all matters relating to human resources management, from recruitment and personnel development to conflict management and case management
• Offer advice to external employees regarding career planning and complex situations
• Plan and coordinate the international transfer process and assist consular personnel
• Participate in the development and application of plans, bases and projects in strategic human resources matters
• Ensure the administrative implementation of all personnel decisions, including clarifications regarding labor law

What distinguishes you

• University degree or federal professional certificate as a human resources specialist
• Several years of experience in the field of human resources throughout the entire HR life cycle, ideally in an international environment
• Sense of responsibility, flexibility, service orientation and team spirit
• Strong analytical skills, systemic thinking and solution-oriented
• Excellent knowledge of two official languages

The Federal Department of Foreign Affairs (FDFA) coordinates and defines, on mandate of the Federal Council, Switzerland's foreign policy, protects the interests of the country and promotes Swiss values.

The Directorate for Resources (DR) manages the employment of personnel and the financial resources necessary for the implementation of foreign policy objectives and maintains the network of Swiss representations abroad. The DR provides the services necessary for the Department's functioning in the fields of logistics, telematics and management and controlling tools. It is also responsible for legislative activity, the application of law and legal advice in the FDFA. The Directorate for Resources also includes the Confederation Travel Centre, which organizes and purchases international business trips.
