For our client, a traditional company in the metal industry, we are looking for an experienced purchasing personality who independently drives the procurement process and continuously optimizes the existing inventory. In this role, you will take on a central role in negotiations, build sustainable supplier partnerships, and work cross-functionally with internal specialist departments. We are looking for an entrepreneurially-minded, technically proficient specialist with sound purchasing experience who values independent work.

Your Task ##

• Maintenance of supplier contacts and management of day-to-day business in purchasing
• Further development of the warehouse range and establishment of new sources of supply
• Participation in contract negotiations as well as conducting supplier audits
• Independent handling of complaints and customer concerns
• Participation in the training of commercial apprentices/junior staff

• Technical basic training with several years of professional experience in the purchasing area
