SW Team Lead (Product Development)

Your tasks

You develop embedded software in C/C++ as part of client projects for products in the medical and industrial technology sectors. Within an interdisciplinary team, you implement technical concepts and implement hardware-proximate software on different processor architectures, real-time operating systems, and frameworks.

In addition, you assume the following tasks:

• Personnel management, coaching, and development of our software development team
• Planning, prioritization, and coordination of software development resources in collaboration with project managers
• Promotion of professional skills as well as knowledge transfer within the team
• Development of software development methods, engineering processes, and workflows
• Support for effort estimations, project assignments, and technical escalations
• Ensuring compliance with our development processes and quality standards
• Active participation in software development projects according to your professional skills
• Close collaboration with project managers, system engineers, principal software architects, and other engineering disciplines

Your profile

• Studies (FH/ETH/Uni) in computer science, software engineering, electrical engineering, or equivalent training
• Several years of professional experience in software development
• Experience in managing employees or teams
• Structured, solution-oriented, and autonomous working method
• Excellent communication skills as well as pleasure in developing and motivating employees
• Very good knowledge of German as well as English skills at C1 level
• Experience in embedded software development as well as knowledge in the field of medical technology are an advantage
