In this function, you accompany the urban and landscape development of the municipalities of the canton of Berne. You work closely with municipal planning authorities by establishing a relationship of trust and by contributing to the implementation of innovative solutions in accordance with the master plan and current law. An experienced and committed team composed of planners and legal experts awaits you in Nidau and in Berne.

Your tasks

• Conduct the preliminary examination of zone plans and neighborhood plans (plans and regulations), as well as master plans
• Collaborate in the approval of land-use plans, incl. appeal procedures
• Draft technical reports and official reports
• Advise municipalities and regions on spatial planning issues
• Collaborate on interdisciplinary projects and working groups

Your profile

• Graduate in territorial development, geography, architecture, landscape architecture or another comparable discipline
• Knowledge and experience in spatial planning, good spatial representation skills
• Experience as a project manager with analytical and conceptual skills
• Result-oriented and client-oriented working method, strong interest in interdisciplinary collaboration in a bilingual environment, ability to assert oneself and negotiate
• Spoken and written French (C2-C1); good active knowledge of German (B2)
