Due to an increase in workload, we are looking for a social worker as of 1 January 2027 or by arrangement.

What you can achieve
At the Sozialdienst Baar, you will professionally, solution-oriented, and at eye level accompany and advise people in different life situations. You will thus make an important contribution to social security and participation in our municipality.

You will manage dossiers in economic social assistance and take on tasks in voluntary social counseling. In doing so, you will clarify personal, financial, and social issues, plan appropriate support measures together with the affected persons, and promote their independence. In addition, you will support people in housing distress and accompany clients in connection with the municipality's emergency housing.

In cooperation with internal and external specialist agencies, you will develop sustainable solutions and contribute your expertise to a committed team.

What you bring with you
You have a completed degree in Social Work and ideally bring experience in statutory social assistance. You meet people in demanding life situations with appreciation, empathy, and a resource-oriented attitude.

You enjoy working independently, take responsibility, and at the same time value professional exchange within the team.

Knowledge of KlibNet is an advantage.
