• Development and representation of the Swiss position in multilateral bodies as well as participation in interstate negotiations
• Analysis of international tax policy developments and their impact on Switzerland
• Participation in project-related working, consultation, and expert groups
• Representation of the office towards businesses and associations
• Preparation of decision-making bases for the office and department management

What makes you unique

• University Master's degree preferably in law, economics, or international relations, with relevant professional experience
• Expertise in national and international corporate tax law and enjoyment of political issues; knowledge in the area of minimum taxation of large companies (OECD minimum tax) is required
• Reliable and assertive, solution-oriented and team-oriented; precise and independent way of working as well as organizational skills when dealing with complex matters
• Strong analytical and editorial skills
• Very good knowledge of two official languages as well as English

The SIF for Switzerland
The State Secretariat for International Financial Matters (SIF) is responsible for coordination and strategic leadership in international financial, tax, and currency matters and represents the interests of Switzerland in these areas abroad. It develops foundations for financial market policy, financial market regulation, and the Swiss tax location.
