As a Senior Planning & Performance Analyst, you will strengthen the Finance business unit in the area of Planning & Performance Management at Zurich Switzerland and make an important contribution to the financial management of the P&C business with sound analyses. You manage and analyze the financial performance of the non-life business (P&C) and translate complex data into clear decision-making bases. In doing so, you work closely with colleagues from Underwriting, Claims, Actuarial and Sales. With your expertise, you continuously improve planning, forecasting and reporting processes. That's why the role fits you: You take on a central role at the interface between Finance and Business. Your analyses create transparency, support sound decisions and help to further develop the financial management of our P&C business in Switzerland. What awaits you * You are responsible for analyses of the monthly and quarterly closings, prepare the results in a target-group-oriented manner and explain significant developments. * You develop the multi-year financial plan together with the team and the relevant stakeholders in the specialist departments. * You manage the forecasting process for the profit and loss statement (P&L), analyze deviations from plan and previous year and derive relevant insights. * You create meaningful reports, dashboards and ad-hoc analyses for different stakeholder groups. * You actively drive the standardization, automation and further development of systems, data and financial processes. What distinguishes you * You have a degree from a university of applied sciences or university in business administration, finance, controlling or a comparable field. * You bring at least three years of professional experience in controlling, financial planning & analysis, reporting, accounting, underwriting or portfolio management - ideally in the insurance or reinsurance business. * You analyze complex issues in a structured manner, recognize connections and prepare results in an understandable and decision-oriented way. * You work confidently with Excel and MS Office; experience with reporting, planning or business intelligence solutions is an advantage. * You communicate with style in German and confidently in English and work in a partnership manner with different stakeholder groups.
