Sales Business Controller Expert (u/d/d)

To strengthen our team, we are looking for an experienced personality in Sales Performance Management, Sales Controlling and Business Steering. You will support the executive management and the sales channels in the planning, steering and optimization of sales performance. In doing so, you will take on a central role in the planning and goal-setting process, analyze financial and non-financial data and transform them into sound management decisions and concrete recommendations for action.

What awaits you

• You develop, implement and optimize Sales Performance Management and Sales Controlling across various sales channels
• You coordinate the annual planning cycle including budgeting, forecasting, goal setting and performance monitoring
• You analyze central sales KPIs, identify trends, opportunities and optimization potential and derive measures from them
• You perform performance and root cause analyses and support the definition and implementation of corrective measures
• You prepare complex data from different sources as meaningful management information and recommendations for action
• You regularly present performance reviews and advise the executive management as well as the persons responsible for the sales channels
• Together with sales and relevant company divisions, you promote a data-based decision culture and sustainable growth

What you bring with you

• University degree or comparable training in business administration, finance, controlling, statistics or management
• Several years of professional experience in Sales Controlling, Sales Performance Management, Financial Planning & Analysis, Business Steering or a comparable function
• Sound experience in planning, budgeting, forecasting and performance management processes
• Strong analytical skills as well as experience with key figures, reporting and business intelligence solutions
• Good understanding of sales organizations, commercial processes and their financial contexts
• Convincing communication and presentation skills as well as experience in collaborating with stakeholders at management level
• Proactive, pragmatic personality with high result orientation
• Very good German and English skills, French is an advantage
