What excites you

• Together with your team, you are responsible for the stable, secure, and performant operation of our Oracle databases on Exadata
• Additionally, you also take responsibility for the engineering and further expansion of the automation of this platform with Ansible
• Your collaboration is also welcome in the setup and operation of the Postgres environment
• You constantly develop the database environment further and contribute your ideas to architecture and operational questions

What you bring with you

• You have experience in automation with tools such as Ansible, Terraform
• You have experience in the operation of Oracle databases, preferably on Exadata, and knowledge in the operation of Postgres and SQL Server DBs
• You possess a strong understanding of IT security concepts with a focus on databases and knowledge of the best practices for them
• Ideally, you also already have experience in the setup / operation of database environments in the Azure cloud
• You have good German and, if possible, English skills and also show a willingness to work evenings and weekends as well as on-call duty
