ICT System Engineer Senior (Application, MCx & Platform)

Bern (and Homeoffice) | 80-100% (Job sharing possible) | This is your contribution * Work in the team according to agile DevSecOps methods and actively participate in ceremonies at the Agile Team and Agile Release Train level * Work closely with the Product Owner to understand user requirements and develop complex solution proposals * Configure applications and platform components and ensure their interaction with backend services and interfaces * Analyze disturbances of large ICT platforms or applications and actively contribute to troubleshooting (incl. on-call service) * Maintain system technical documentation What makes you unique * University degree or higher vocational training in computer science, software/system engineering or comparable field of study as well as several years of experience as a Senior Application, Platform or Solution Engineer * Several years of experience with complex application and platform architectures, APIs, backend services and highly available platform solutions * Sound knowledge of Kubernetes/OpenShift, cloud-native architectures as well as the integration of third-party products into existing platform landscapes * Sound experience with communication and collaboration platforms as well as with real-time communication and telco architectures * Several years of experience in the technical evaluation and integration of complex application and platform solutions as well as in cooperation with several suppliers and system partners * Good active knowledge of a second official language In a nutshell As a Senior Lead Engineer, become part of Kommando Cyber and shape the future mission-critical services of mobile security communication and integrate market-available applications and platforms into a secure and end-to-end communication solution for the Confederation, Cantons and other user organizations.
