Senior Communications Manager (80-100%)

Introduction

Since 1993, we have been connecting people and knowledge in the healthcare sector. We manage the offices of medical professional societies, organize congresses, and provide advice in communication and finance.

To strengthen our team, we are looking for a Senior Communications Manager (80-100%) immediately or by arrangement.

Your Tasks

• Be strategically and operationally responsible for the communication mandates of several professional societies – including annual planning, concept, and budget
• Lead campaigns and communication projects from the idea to implementation
• Advise presidencies and boards, including on sensitive health policy positions
• Be responsible for media work: press releases, contacts, inquiries, and monitoring
• Write and edit statements, position papers, newsletters, and web texts in a manner appropriate to the target group
• Design social media and video content and manage implementation with the team or external partners
• Accompany congress communication; prepare crisis communication
• Provide professional guidance to junior employees and interns; no personnel management

Your Profile

• Degree in communication, journalism, or a related field, or equivalent education and training
• Several years of professional experience in PR, corporate communications, or journalism – ideally with a connection to healthcare, associations, or politics
• Experience in campaigns, project management, media work, and stakeholder management
• Proficient German, business fluent French, and good English in speaking and writing
• Political intuition, advisory competence, and a confident appearance when dealing with medical professionals and decision-makers
• You work independently, reliably, and carefully, contribute your own ideas, and maintain an overview with parallel mandates
• Experience with CMS (Contao, TYPO3) and Google Analytics is an advantage
