Tasks ##

• Size and install HPE Compute and Storage platforms.
• Design virtualization projects with VMware and Microsoft.
• Advise clients on their virtualization strategy.

Skills ##

• Technical systems training and several years of experience required.
• Knowledge of Veeam and Zerto backup solutions.
• HPE and VMware certifications appreciated.

Your role

• Size, plan, install and commission Compute and Storage platforms based on HPE ProLiant, Synergy, Alletra and MSA
• Design and implement virtualization projects with VMware vSphere, VCF, HPE Morpheus, VM Essentials or Microsoft Hyper-V as well as perform migrations between platforms
• Design and implement modern backup, restart and disaster recovery solutions with Veeam or Zerto
• Advise clients on the technical and economic orientation of their virtualization strategy
• Manage highly available and regulated client environments as well as perform maintenance and migration work outside of regular business hours if necessary
• Share technical expertise within the company, promote internal knowledge transfers and act as a competent contact person for technical questions, as well as collaborate with the sales team to develop innovative client solutions and continuously evolve the existing solution portfolio.

What you bring

• You have completed initial or continuing training in the field of systems technology with several years of professional experience or an equivalent training in this field
• Continuing education at a university of applied sciences is a plus
• You possess in-depth knowledge in sizing, commissioning and troubleshooting server and storage hardware as well as in implementing virtualization solutions, preferably at an IT service provider
• You have experience in implementing backup and restore solutions, preferably with Veeam
• You hold certifications in the field of HPE, Veeam, VMware manufacturers or are ready to obtain them
• You speak very good German and have good knowledge of English
