Does the thought of providing security and orientation to people in demanding claim cases motivate you? Would you like to process complex property and liability claims independently and drive appropriate solutions forward?

In this role, you are part of the Claims business unit in the Property & Liability claims area at Zurich Schweiz. You will take on the independent processing of complex property and liability claims and support our customers in challenging situations with clarity, security, and empathy. You will clarify factual, coverage, and liability issues, calculate losses, and be a reliable contact person for all parties involved.

What awaits you

• You support and help people in claim cases by taking the handling of difficult claim cases off their hands.
• You clarify open questions and are responsible for oral and written inquiries from policyholders, injured parties, lawyers, authorities, and insurance companies.
• You have control over claim settlement, including the clarification of factual, coverage, and liability issues as well as the execution of loss calculations.

What distinguishes you

• Successfully completed commercial or equivalent training - ideally supplemented by a federal diploma in insurance or a degree from a Higher Technical College for Insurance (HF).
• Several years of experience in claims processing.
• Enjoyment of IT as well as the ability to quickly and securely familiarize yourself with new systems.
• Rapid comprehension, a precise way of working, and strong self-organization.
• Very good German skills in spoken and written form; other language skills are a plus.
