What you can contribute

• Detect cyberattacks on the networks and servers of the army and the military administration
• Identify anomalies in information flows and logging data, analyze and classify security incidents and, depending on their severity, inform the higher level autonomously
• Define appropriate measures to remedy security incidents and ensure their implementation
• Propose preventive measures to limit cyber risks
• Identify and correct ICT vulnerabilities; ensure that the measures planned in case of a security incident are applied
• Train and supervise militia soldiers in the Cyber field

What makes you unique

• University degree in computer science, information security or engineering
• Sound knowledge of network technology and Linux/UNIX and Windows operating systems
• In-depth knowledge of malware analysis and vulnerability detection; skills in the field of research and development and practical experience with network protocols
• Knowledge of network security monitoring, intrusion detection, log data management and digital forensics
• Precise, analytical and solution-oriented working method
• Good active knowledge in a second official language and proficiency in English

In a few words

Would you like to not only identify cyber threats but also actively contribute to cybersecurity and its development? In this position, you analyze security incidents, detect vulnerabilities and make targeted use of your expertise in the field of network technology, operating systems and network security monitoring. In doing so, you apply state-of-the-art methods in malware analysis and digital forensics and support the development of security measures for the army's IT infrastructure.
In this cybersecurity analyst II role, you will evolve within a highly specialized and very diverse cyber environment, where you can deepen your technical knowledge, participate in research and development work and deal with complex security problems, with the aim of solving them. Thanks to your analytical and precise working method, you contribute greatly to strengthening the Swiss Army's cyber defense capabilities.
