As a Cloud & Hybrid Identity Engineer, you will help design central authentication and authorization platforms and shape the future of our Hybrid Identity landscape. In doing so, you will combine Active Directory and Microsoft Entra ID with Cloud Engineering, automation, and modern authentication technologies.

With you, we will continue to develop our Hybrid Identity platforms and create the foundation for secure and modern authentication throughout Post. Look forward to an exciting environment in which you will work closely with experienced specialists and can actively help shape technical solutions.

What you can achieve

• You will operate and further develop our hybrid identity platforms with a focus on Active Directory and Microsoft Entra ID.
• Using GitOps, Infrastructure as Code, and scripting, you will automate configurations, deployments, and recurring processes.
• You will analyze complex disruptions independently and implement sustainable technical improvements.
• You will participate in the further development of Hybrid Identity, Modern Authentication, and cloud-based platforms.
• You will advise internal and external partners on the secure integration of their applications and services.
• From technical analysis through to implementation and documentation, you will take responsibility for your solutions.
• In a versatile combination of engineering, automation, and operations, you will contribute your own ideas and actively help shape technical solutions.

What you bring with you

• You have completed initial or further education in the field of computer science.
• Profound knowledge of Active Directory as well as practical experience with Microsoft Entra ID distinguish you, ideally supplemented by relevant certifications.
• Hybrid identity environments and modern authentication procedures are very familiar to you.
• You already have experience with Git, Infrastructure as Code, and automation tools such as Terraform.
• Agile working methods are a matter of course for you and you are familiar with frameworks such as Scrum, Kanban, or SAFe.
• Knowledge of scripting, coding, Identity Federation, Security, GitHub, and AI is an advantage. You enjoy analyzing complex technical relationships and developing sustainable solutions together in a team.
• An independent, structured, and reliable way of working, as well as confident English and good German skills, round off your profile. Additionally, you are willing to perform periodic on-call duty.

Location-independent work is possible; 1 day of presence per week in Bern is required.
