For one of our clients, we are looking for an International Liability Insurance Specialist FR / ENG on a permanent contract between 80% and 100%, based in Lausanne or Genève. The collaborator will act as an expert on international corporate liability insurance.

International Liability Insurance Specialist FR / ENG

Our client is a very beautiful structure active in insurance brokerage and pension schemes throughout Switzerland.

Missions

• Integration within the structure ;
• Client portfolio management: Autonomously manage a portfolio of national and international clients (outgoing and incoming programs) ;
• Risk analysis and consulting: Identify liability and property risk exposures, evaluate coverage needs and formulate strategic recommendations ;
• Negotiation and tenders: Conduct negotiations with insurance companies in the context of annual renewals, endorsements or tendering processes ;
• Design of international programs: Design, coordinate and implement local insurance solutions (in Switzerland) articulated with international insurance programs ;
• Claims management: Provide technical support and active assistance to clients during the occurrence and settlement of liability claims ;
• Cross-functional coordination: Work in close collaboration with Account Management teams, Risk Practice Leaders and network correspondents internationally ;
• Reporting to clients and Management ;
• Training of new employees ;
• Participation in daily office life.

Candidate Profile

• Basic commercial training (ideally in insurance or brokerage), ideally completed by a federal diploma in private insurance (AFA) or a recognized sector certification/training ;
• Several years of professional experience in consulting for corporate clients, either with a direct insurer (primary insurer) or at an insurance broker in Switzerland ;
• In-depth knowledge of liability insurance (corporate liability / product liability / professional liability) and familiarity with the mechanics of international insurance programs ;
• Good command of the MS Office suite and insurance software ;
• Excellent command of the French language, both spoken and written ;
• Good command of the English language, both spoken and written ;
• Mastery of another language as an asset ;
• Entrepreneurial spirit, strong customer orientation and sense of service ;
• Excellent communication skills and interpersonal ease in a multicultural environment ;
• Analytical mindset, rigor and networked thinking ;
• Discretion and sense of confidentiality.

Conditions and Advantages

Our client offers a permanent contract between 80% and 100% within a high-quality, dynamic and human-sized working environment. Teleworking is also conceivable for this position.
