In this role, you will coordinate processes, take on complex procedures, and ensure efficient and smooth operations. Contribute as a decisive leadership character and actively shape the further development of our department.

Your tasks

• Competently lead and support a team of 12 employees, and plan workflows
• Coordinate tasks and specifically promote employees
• Demanding procedures: process seizures, liquidations, and attachments
• Examine complex cases and create legally secure decrees for them
• Professionally represent the office towards courts, lawyers, and authorities

Your profile

• Commercial training
• At least 3 years of leadership experience at the team leader level
• Further training in the field of leadership and business administration
• Professional experience in debt collection with sound knowledge of the SchKG
• Very good German skills in speaking and writing (C1)
• Impeccable reputation (no debt enforcement proceedings)

The Betreibungsamt Bern-Mittelland belongs to the Directorate of Internal Affairs and Justice of the Canton of Bern. It fulfills the tasks from the Federal Act on Debt Collection and Bankruptcy (SchKG) for the Bern-Mittelland region. This includes, among other things, the execution of debt collection, seizures, and liquidations, as well as the handling of bankruptcy proceedings. Through its activity, the office ensures the legally correct enforcement of claims.
