YOUR AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY

• Inspired creation of added value and limitation of risks during contract design
• Commercial contract analysis within the framework of customer tenders
• Prepares concise analyses for management decisions and shares knowledge with the company team
• Support for project management & purchasing regarding contractual questions during the execution of ongoing orders
• Contact person for contractual and legal questions
• Contributes to the compliance with essential company guidelines
• Optimizes the contract management system of the Division Signalling

YOUR PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE

• Industrial engineer or University engineer with solid further training in contract law, alternatively BLaw/MLaw with good technical understanding
• Applied experience of more than 10 years; has accompanied contracts from large orders in detail in both offers and project execution
• Experience with customer claims
• Familiar with public tenders and IFIs; knows international customs
• Experience in a project management function with commercial responsibility in large-scale projects is an advantage
• Industry knowledge: preferably railway, but also power plant construction, shipbuilding, aircraft construction, other large-scale plant construction
• Very good German and English skills, other foreign languages (specifically French) are an advantage
• Pragmatic, reliable, eager to learn, proactive & communicates/shares knowledge
• High level of commitment and independence, navigates confidently in a complex business environment
