In the course of further growth and the strategic realignment of the purchasing department, we are looking for an experienced, entrepreneurially-minded personality who will actively help shape and develop purchasing.

In this versatile and responsible position, you will take on a central role in the creation and expansion of modern purchasing structures, maintain and expand international supplier relationships, and contribute significantly to the long-term competitiveness of the company.

Your task ##

• Sound experience gained in strategic purchasing, ideally in mechanical or plant engineering or a comparable technical environment
• Global procurement competence with experience in building and specifically developing international supplier networks as well as in the realignment of existing purchasing structures
• Broad technical product group know-how, from castings, turned and milled parts to plastics and rubber components, electrical cabinets, controls etc.
• Negotiation skills on the international stage with a confident appearance in price, contract, and condition negotiations with suppliers worldwide
• Analytical and digital tools with a strong understanding of numbers, very good Excel skills as well as experience with SAP or Microsoft Dynamics 365 and business fluent German and English
• Entrepreneurial, proactive personality who independently tackles the development of the purchasing department, creates sustainable structures, and assumes a central role in the company in the long term

Your profile ##

• Technical or business administration training
• Several years of experience in strategic purchasing, ideally in mechanical or plant engineering or a technically comparable environment
• Business fluent German and English skills in speaking and writing
• Very good Excel skills and confident handling of digital work tools
• Experience in the rebuilding or realignment of purchasing structures and supplier portfolios
