Information Security Officer

Are you interested in information security and do you move easily between specialized units, projects, and management? Do you wish to communicate security-related themes in an understandable manner and support their implementation? Then you are the person we are looking for. Make a difference

• You strengthen information security in your area of responsibility and develop it continuously.
• In collaboration with specialized units, you identify and analyze security risks and develop pragmatic solutions to reduce risks.
• You prepare security requirements, risks, and decision bases in an understandable manner adapted to the recipient.
• As a competent interlocutor, you advise stakeholders on information security matters and accompany the implementation of security requirements.
• You reconcile different interests and develop viable solutions.
• Within the framework of projects, you work in close collaboration with various stakeholders and submit security-related themes sufficiently early.
• Through targeted awareness and empowerment activities, you strengthen security risk awareness and sustainably anchor information security in the organization.

What you bring

• You hold a degree from a university of applied sciences in computer science, information security, or you have completed an equivalent training.
• You have already been able to acquire professional experience in the field of cybersecurity, risk management, or governance.
• You have experience in managing information security standards, methods, and governance processes.
• Thanks to your excellent communication and advisory skills, you convey complex facts in an understandable manner adapted to the recipients.
• You reconcile different interests and open diverse perspectives to find common solutions.
• You enjoy collaborating with different stakeholders and are comfortable in a dynamic matrix environment.
• You communicate with ease in French and German and have knowledge of English.-

It is possible to work independently of location; a presence of one to two days per week in Berne is required.
