System Engineer with project experience 80-100 % Zürich-Flughafen, St. Gallen or Morges

In this exciting role, you will ensure the stable operation of our infrastructure, lead technical sub-projects, and work actively on modern solutions surrounding CARI, the leading ERP for road traffic and shipping offices in Switzerland. You will support our customers in the introduction of new technologies and thereby contribute directly to the digital progress of the public sector in the mobility sector. Your role ##

• Ensuring a constantly available and smoothly functioning internal infrastructure.
• Implementing solutions and installations directly at our customers.
• Developing operating concepts for CARI solutions as well as creating technical documentation.
• Leading infrastructure and technical sub-projects.
• Providing and further developing development infrastructures (CI/CD, Docker, Kubernetes, Atlassian JIRA / Bitbucket / Bamboo, Kanban).
• Contributing expertise for the prevention and efficient solution of technical problems.
• Close cooperation with customer service, the development teams, and the operations managers of our solutions.

Your profile ##

• Completed apprenticeship or higher vocational training in the field of IT.
• Sound knowledge of UNIX and Windows systems.
• Experience in handling ORACLE databases.
• Good knowledge of networks, firewall, VPN, security.
• Several years of project experience as well as professional experience as a System Engineer or Technical Account Manager.
• Strong customer orientation and pleasure in dealing with customers.
• Fluent in German; technical English, French is an advantage.
• High flexibility and willingness for regular business trips to the Morges location as well as to customer appointments throughout Switzerland.
