We are looking for a Portfolio Manager for the real estate of the University and PH Bern.

Your tasks

• Sustainably manage the assigned real estate portfolio, taking into account both the requirements of the users (University, PH) and the owner and client interests of the Canton of Bern. In doing so, the specific operational and infrastructural requirements of the Veterinary Hospital (e.g., complex procurement processes, high technical requirements, and cost control) must be appropriately considered.
• Development and continuous optimization of the properties: develop potential and feasibility studies, develop solution strategies, and create profitability calculations in SIA sub-phases 11 and 21
• Defining the strategic maintenance planning in close cooperation with the object managers
• Specification requirements for new buildings, repairs, and maintenance measures for handover to the construction project management
• Leading the external and internal project teams and coordinating the different requirements

Your profile

• University degree in Architecture / Economics / Civil Engineering / Real Estate Management, preferably with further training in business administration
• Professional experience in portfolio and project management as well as real estate development
• You enjoy taking responsibility, act entrepreneurially, are resilient, and innovative
• You communicate skillfully, are proficient in negotiation, work in a structured and organized manner
