The Enforcement and Probation Service of the Canton of Luzern executes court judgments as well as penal orders from public prosecutor's offices. As an Enforcement Officer, you ensure that sentences and measures are enforced - in contact with the convicted persons and with a view to the individual case.

Your tasks

• You take on case responsibility for substitute prison sentences and prison sentences with low risk potential.
• You coordinate the enforcement of prison sentences as well as alternative sentence enforcement and record this in the enforcement order and instruction.
• You carefully examine applications for leave, conditional releases, etc., from convicted persons and decide on further proceedings.
• You formulate all decisions in sanction enforcement carefully and understandably in the form of an order - including prior legal hearing.
• You are in contact with the convicted persons as well as with the enforcement facilities personally and by telephone.
• You examine and decide on requests for special forms of enforcement such as semi-custody, Electronic Monitoring, or community service.

Your profile

• You have completed a commercial vocational apprenticeship (EFZ) or equivalent commercial knowledge.
• Ideally, you have professional experience in administration or justice.
• Proficient MS Office skills (ideally supplemented by Juris) as well as a sophisticated written style are part of your toolkit.
• Flexibility and a quick grasp of matters help you to quickly think your way into changing cases and situations.
• You hold a driving license in category B
