In this role, you are part of the Finance division in the Corporate Real Estate (CRES) department at Zurich Switzerland. You will take on a central role in managing our nationwide lease portfolio, being equally responsible for commercial, administrative, and coordinative tasks, thereby contributing significantly to the professional and sustainable management of our commercial properties.

What awaits you

• You will independently manage a portfolio of lease and sublease agreements for commercial properties throughout the entire contract lifecycle - from negotiation to termination or extension.
• You will represent Zurich as a tenant and, if necessary, as a sublessor towards landlords, tenants, and other contractual partners, and conduct the corresponding negotiations.
• You will advise internal stakeholders on lease-related issues and work closely with regional managers and construction project managers on site developments and tenant fit-outs.
• You will ensure professional deadline, data, and documentation management and be responsible for the quality of the relevant contract and master data.
• You will support decision-making processes with reliable information, analyses, and evaluations regarding your portfolio and actively contribute to the further development of processes, standards, and digital tools.

What distinguishes you

• Sound professional experience (5 years or more) in the independent management of commercial properties with demonstrable experience in negotiating and managing lease and sublease relationships; Federal Diploma of Higher Education in Real Estate Management or comparable further training is an advantage.
• Good knowledge of Swiss tenancy law for commercially used spaces as well as a strong understanding of the economic and administrative aspects of real estate management.
• Strong personal responsibility, a structured way of working, and enjoyment in driving topics forward holistically and independently.
• Very good user knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite as well as a high digital affinity; experience with Planon, Power BI or comparable applications is an advantage.
• Excellent German skills in speaking and writing as well as good English skills; other national languages are an advantage.

Travel activity: up to 25% per year
