Zürich (and home office) | 80-100% | This is the contribution you can make * Take over project management on behalf of MeteoSchweiz and redesign and improve the meteorological products and services for the army * Advance cooperation with the army on meteorological issues * Advise and accompany the army in the collection of requirements and the selection of weather products * Develop IT solutions for weather that effectively support the army in its work * Implement complex meteorological issues into products * Use your knowledge of weather and climate for the benefit of the population * What makes you unique * Degree (Master or Doctorate) in environmental or natural sciences or computer science with in-depth knowledge of meteorology * Good technical knowledge in software development (Python), cloud infrastructures or IT operations * Enthusiasm and, if possible, experience in managing customer projects * Enthusiasm for working with and on weather data * Advantageously experience in business analysis as well as in the collection and structuring of functional requirements * German and another official language as well as good English skills desirable In a nutshell As a weather specialist and software developer, you will create new services and products for the army in a team. You will take over the overall management of the development project and transform the requirements of the army into useful products.
