For our Group IT, we are looking for a technically savvy personality who wants to not only operate but actively further develop modern client infrastructures.

Your focus will be on client engineering based on modern Microsoft cloud technologies. At the same time, in our team of around 25 IT specialists, you will have the opportunity to take on responsibility in system engineering and help shape our hybrid IT landscape.

Client and System Engineer (m/f/d) 80-100%

Your tasks

• You further develop our modern client and workplace platform with Microsoft Intune, Entra ID and other components of the Microsoft platform and ensure secure, stable and efficient operation
• You design the entire client lifecycle, from provisioning and configuration to software distribution and patch management, through to security and lifecycle management
• You automate recurring processes and continuously further develop our client and workplace management processes
• You analyze new requirements, develop technical solutions and implement them independently
• In the event of demanding technical problems, you support our IT support as an engineering escalation point and ensure sustainable solutions
• Beyond client engineering, you occasionally take on tasks in our hybrid infrastructure, for example in the areas of Windows Server, virtualization, backup, monitoring, Azure, Microsoft 365 or Exchange
• You actively participate in IT projects and take on technical responsibility depending on the topic

Your qualities

• You have a sound education (HF level or Bachelor) in computer science and several years of practical experience in client or modern workplace engineering
• You bring several years of experience in several of the following subject areas: Unified Endpoint Management (preferably with Microsoft Intune), Microsoft 365, Exchange Online, Microsoft Entra, Microsoft Azure
• You have a solid understanding of classic IT infrastructures and feel comfortable in a hybrid environment of cloud and on-premises
• You enjoy analyzing technical problems in depth and prefer to develop sustainable solutions rather than just fixing symptoms
• You work independently and in a structured manner, share your knowledge within the team and enjoy trying out new technologies and using them productively
