ICT-System Engineer Senior (DevSecOps GIS)

This is your contribution

• Automate the construction and operation of geoinformation system platforms according to the DevSecOps method (microservices, container technology, Kubernetes, orchestration)
• Iteratively drive continuous further development in design, automation/orchestration (release automation) and build new platforms
• Collaborate on the standardization of projects at the federal level
• Create decision-making bases for the introduction of new IT components
• Take on tasks along the entire DevSecOps cycles

This makes you unique

• Engineer (UNI/ETH/FH); or technician (HF) in the field of computer science, business informatics or a similar discipline with several years of professional experience
• Very good, practical knowledge in the automation of IT solutions in the DevSecOps environment with the products ArcGIS, Red Hat OpenShift, Ansible and GitLab
• Comprehensive and up-to-date experience in Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery as well as in programming or scripting languages such as Python, .NET, Powershell, Bash as well as Linux (RHEL) and Windows Server
• Knowledge of process and architecture notations such as BPMN and ArchiMate
• Conceptual and goal-oriented way of working, high teamwork skills as well as work experience in an agile environment according to SAFe and knowledge of agile tools (Git, Jira, Confluence); willingness to undergo further training in GIS topics
• Good knowledge of a second official language and good active English skills
