Your tasks

• Independent execution of import customs clearances and export formalities
• Control and processing of customs-relevant customer orders and documents
• Competent support and advice for customers in all customs matters
• Communication and coordination with customs authorities in compliance with applicable regulations
• Coordination as well as registration and deregistration of transports
• Creation and monitoring of transit documents
• Calculation of customs duties as well as creation of evaluations and statistics
• Analysis, further development and optimization of existing customs processes
• Technical support for demanding customer projects in the customs area
• Undertaking of general administrative activities
• Deployment in staggered daily operations between 07.00 and 17.30

Your profile

• Completed vocational training as a freight forwarding agent, customs declarant or a comparable qualification
• Successfully completed specialist courses or further training in customs matters
• Several years of sound professional experience in operational customs clearance – mandatory
• Knowledge of the customs software almostlogistics is an advantage
• Very good German skills as well as good English skills in speaking and writing
• Independent, structured and solution-oriented way of working
• Strong sense of responsibility and high service orientation
• Strong communication skills, reliability and flexibility
• Ability to work in a team as well as enjoyment of a dynamic, international logistics environment
