Assessment Expert for Income and Wealth Taxes

The Tax Administration of the Canton Thurgau is looking for, by agreement,

Your Tasks

• You examine the tax returns of employees, assess the tax law facts, and prepare the corresponding assessments.
• You conduct objection proceedings independently.
• You draft statements to the Tax Appeals Commission.
• You process supplementary tax proceedings and, if necessary, issue fines for violation of procedural duties.
• After training, you will look after your assigned municipalities independently in the field.

Your Profile

• Commercial or equivalent training.
• Interest in tax law issues and the willingness to undergo in-depth training.
• Very good expression in spoken and written language as well as enjoyment of communication and negotiation.
• You enjoy working analytically, make well-founded decisions, and maintain an overview even in complex matters.
• You appear confident, service-oriented, and binding towards municipalities and taxpayers.
• Willingness to work at least 80 % during the training phase.
