• Assess construction projects regarding groundwater protection / water morphology and ecology and write statements on them
• Project participation in the sections Water Management and Revitalization Basics as well as Groundwater Protection
• Write texts and short reports on water topics

• Master's degree in natural sciences, geology, environmental sciences or geography
• Knowledge in the field of water ecology and/or groundwater protection
• Enjoy writing well-structured texts
• Enjoy teamwork, independent and helpful
• Good active knowledge of at least a second official language and, if possible, knowledge of a third official language

The Federal Office for the Environment (BAFU) is responsible for the sustainable use of natural resources such as soil, water, air and forest, for protection against natural hazards and for the preservation of biodiversity. It is part of the Federal Department of the Environment, Transport, Energy and Communications (UVEK).

Duration: 1 year fixed-term

The university internship is limited to one year. Preference is given to applicants who can commit until the end of December 2027.
