System Engineer

You ensure the reliable operation of our Swiss dispatch control system solution for emergency communication and, together with a motivated team, ensure that our AVANTI software solutions function smoothly around the clock. In doing so, you work closely with development and project management, implement new ideas and requirements, and move in a varied, technical environment with a lot of creative freedom. Depending on the situation, you work remotely or directly on-site with our customers.

• You work with modern, modular, and technically sophisticated system landscapes involving web technologies, interfaces, and infrastructure.
• You analyze existing architectures, optimize performance and security, and develop sustainable solutions together with the team.
• You implement infrastructure solutions independently - from conception to installation and configuration.
• You install, operate, and optimize our software solutions, continuously developing your technical know-how regarding system integration and modern IT systems.
• With growing experience, you can take on additional responsibility internally and develop professionally.

Your skills:

• Degree in computer science (ETH/Uni/FH) or alternatively Informatik EFZ with several years of professional experience
• Enjoyment in analyzing complex relationships and developing sustainable solutions
• Good knowledge of web technologies and software development as well as a solid understanding of Windows client/server architectures and group policies
• Enjoyment of technical challenges and complex tasks
• Strong service orientation and experience in direct contact with customers
• Very good German (understanding of Swiss German); French and English are an advantage
• Residence in Switzerland
