Head of Group Controlling

Provide a clear reading of performance, structure financial steering, and support the development of the Group: a key function, working closely with the CFO, in an international environment in full evolution. Based in Sonceboz, the Sontex Group designs and develops innovative measurement systems and solutions in the fields of heat, water, and energy. Present in international markets, this Swiss technology company has experienced sustained development in recent years, notably with the integration of new companies. This evolution strengthens the requirements regarding financial steering, transparency, and process efficiency. In this context, we are mandated to search for an entrepreneurial, committed, and solution-oriented personality as Head of Group Controlling. As a direct partner of the Group CFO, you assume responsibility for controlling and consolidation at the Group level. You steer Management Reporting, analyze the financial and operational performance of the various entities, and provide the CFO as well as management with reliable and relevant decision-making bases. Budgeting, Forecasting, and medium-term planning are also part of your responsibilities, as is the coordination of quarterly and annual consolidations. In close collaboration with local financial managers, you identify the main levers of results, margins, costs, and cash-flow and translate your analyses into concrete recommendations. Beyond financial steering, you play a determining role in the evolution of the Group's Finance and Controlling structures. You harmonize reporting, planning, and consolidation processes, define common standards, and ensure the quality and reliability of data. You pursue the development of Emasphere as a central platform and advance the digitalization as well as the automation of processes. The integration of new companies, your participation in strategic and M&A projects, as well as the functional leadership of local controllers and financial managers, complete your field of action. The development of the Group offers you real maneuverability. Some processes are already well established, others still need to be harmonized or adapted to the new dimensions of the organization. You know how to set priorities, provide structure without weighing down processes, and implement pragmatic and sustainable solutions. You are comfortable in an environment where not everything is yet set in stone and where your ability to combine financial rigor, business understanding, and entrepreneurial sense makes the difference. You have a higher education degree in business management, finance, controlling, accounting, or a comparable field and have several years of experience in Group Controlling, ideally within an international or decentralized organization. You master consolidation, Management Reporting, budgeting, and Forecasting. Experience with a consolidation tool -- ideally Emasphere -- as well as excellent knowledge of Excel and ERP systems complete your profile. Analytical spirit, autonomy, sense of responsibility, and the ability to convince characterize you. You are proficient in German and English; knowledge of French is an asset. Sontex offers you a high-responsibility function, in close connection with the Group CFO, with short decision-making circuits and genuine latitude of action.
