What you can contribute

• Process criminal business files in customs matters, primarily in French
• Draft criminal decisions, indictments and referral files for the cantonal public prosecutor's offices, as well as observations to federal courts
• Represent the OFDF before cantonal criminal courts within the framework of accusation proceedings
• Provide internal training and continuing education

• University degree in law and several years of professional experience in the field of criminal prosecution
• Precision, analytical mindset and excellent oral and written expression
• Sense of responsibility, ability to assert oneself and a keen sense of justice
• Good knowledge of a second official language

Security for the population, the economy and the State

The Federal Office for Customs and Border Security (OFDF) ensures global security at the border for the benefit of the population, the economy and the State. It works closely with other national and international authorities. Among its main tasks are the adequate and rapid customs clearance of commercial goods, the smooth management of tourist traffic as well as the areas of security police and migration. With the Criminal Prosecution management division, it has its own investigative authority. The OFDF is undergoing a full digital transformation. The DaziT program aims to simplify, optimize and digitize all customs, fee collection and control processes.
