Your contribution

• Monitor data flows, system messages and other metadata as well as analyze any anomalies or incidents related to cybersecurity; adopt appropriate measures
• Further develop cloud security, contribute to the optimization of protection measures and ensure the exchange of knowledge
• Collaborate in the elimination and containment of damage in the event of cybersecurity-related incidents
• Document cybersecurity-related incidents (Security Incident Reporting) and draw up reports concerning recommendations aimed at improving cybersecurity
• Provide support to interdisciplinary teams and collaborate with working groups and other bodies

What distinguishes you

• Tertiary-level education (university, UAS) in computer science or equivalent training; several years of professional experience in a similar role
• Proven experience in the field of cloud security
• Skills in forensic analysis of network traffic (<<network detection and response>>, NDR), computer systems (Windows, Linux) and malware
• Certifications/continuing education in the field of cybersecurity are a preferential qualification
• Purely analytical and conceptual mindset; ability to remain calm in stressful situations; autonomous way of working
• Active knowledge of two official languages as well as English

In summary

Together with colleagues from the Computer Security Incident Response Team (CSIRT), in the Security Operations Center, you will be responsible for monitoring and protecting the IT infrastructures managed by UFIT. You will identify threats and vulnerabilities and coordinate their resolution, thereby contributing to the security of digital Switzerland.
