Zürich-Flughafen (and home office) | 80-100% (job sharing possible) | This is the contribution you can make * Lead the International Cooperation department in technical, organizational, personnel, and financial respects * Represent Switzerland in international organizations regarding weather and climate and maintain the international and national network of relationships * Advise the executive management and develop positions on international matters * Accompany the national implementation of the GAW and GCOS programs from a strategic, political, and financial perspective * Coordinate and strategically develop MeteoSchweiz activities in the field of development cooperation What makes you unique * Master in natural sciences or in the field of international relations * Proven several years of leadership experience as well as very good negotiation skills and advisory competence * Pronounced understanding of meteorology and climatology * Integrative personality with high capacity for cooperation and a pronounced understanding of cross-sectoral decision-making and coordination processes * Pronounced understanding of the cultural, political, and institutional specificities of international organizations as well as the ability to act confidently in this environment * Very good knowledge of two official languages as well as good English skills In short: You are an integrative and networked-thinking leader with a sense for complex international contexts, political processes, and sustainable partnerships.
