The Bachem Group is investing in a new planned site in Sisslerfeld in Northwest Switzerland. This step is part of the long-term strategy to expand production capacities by the end of the decade. The new production site will play a central role in achieving these goals. The planning phase of the project offers you unique opportunities to actively help shape the organization of the future.

As part of the planned site development, the System Expert Materials Management Sisslerfeld Site Development (a) 100% ensures that materials management processes are mapped efficiently, in compliance with GMP, and in a future-proof manner within the intended systems. The role contributes significantly to developing digital solutions for storage, production supply, sampling, dispensing, tank farm management, and disposal processes and successfully putting them into operation.

Your tasks:

• Active participation in the construction of the new site and in the design of the future materials management organization
• Representation of the requirements of the operating organization during the conception, implementation, and further development of the system landscape
• Development and optimization of end-to-end processes, taking into account organizational, operational, and systemic interfaces
• Translation of technical requirements into sustainable digital solutions in cooperation with Engineering, IT, and external partners
• Participation in the conception and further development of ERP, WMS, MES, and other relevant systems and business processes
• Planning, implementation, and support of tests, qualification, and commissioning activities from the perspective of the future operating organization
• Review and technical approval of project-relevant documents as well as ensuring compliance with safety, environmental, and quality specifications
• Support in building a high-performing, efficient, and digitally supported materials management organization

Your profile:

• Higher education in logistics, supply chain management, business informatics, industrial engineering, or a comparable field of study
• Several years of experience in the conception, introduction, or further development of business processes and digital solutions
• Strong understanding of end-to-end processes and their organizational and systemic mapping
• Very good knowledge of integrated system landscapes, particularly in the environment of ERP, WMS, and MES; experience with SAP or SAP-related logistics processes and SAP EWM is an advantage
• Experience in a project environment as well as in working with interdisciplinary teams and different stakeholders
• Experience in a regulated production environment, ideally in the pharmaceutical, chemical, or a comparable industry, is an advantage
• Analytical and structured personality with strong end-to-end thinking and the ability to translate complex relationships into practical solutions
• High level of initiative, sense of responsibility, and strong communication skills, as well as enjoyment in helping shape new structures and solutions in a dynamic project environment
