What makes you unique

• completed university degree in law, preferably with a lawyer's patent and/or doctorate
• an advantage is several years of professional experience, e.g., as a clerk of the court at a federal or cantonal court, or an academic career in the legal fields of the I. öffentlich-rechtlichen Abteilung
• good active knowledge of at least a second official language and, if possible, passive knowledge of a third official language

In a nutshell

Apply your expertise in the diverse areas of responsibility of the I. öffentlich-rechtlichen Abteilung by dealing with appeals in public law matters and subsidiary constitutional complaints. The department deals with various fundamental rights (in particular equality before the law, personal liberty, political rights, the guarantee of ownership and procedural guarantees), with administrative law (spatial planning, construction law, environmental protection, international legal assistance in criminal matters and road traffic).
