Social Work Professional, Focus on Individual Tenant Support (60-80%) (m/f/d)

ITOBA supports property owners, administrations, and tenants with social challenges surrounding housing. In doing so, we combine socio-cultural, social work, and social-spatial approaches with practical solutions for good coexistence.

To expand our range of services in individual tenant support, we are looking for an experienced Social Work Professional who will enrich our interdisciplinary team with their expertise and new perspectives. You will actively contribute your social work expertise and enjoy developing new services and projects together with us. The focus of the activity is the counseling and support of tenants in challenging housing and life situations, support in processes of change, as well as collaboration with administrations, property owners, and social specialist agencies.

Your tasks

• Counseling and support of tenants in demanding housing and life situations
• Support of tenants during renovations in occupied conditions, especially with personal challenges, uncertainties, and burdens
• Support of tenants in the search for follow-up solutions and managing the changes associated with them
• Independent case management and coordination of individual support processes including documentation and reporting
• Support of tenants with administrative concerns as well as with contacts with authorities and specialist agencies
• Mediation between tenants, administrations, property owners, and other stakeholders
• Planning and implementation of community-promoting measures such as information events, workshops, or small events for the tenants

You...

• have a degree in Social Work (FH/HF) or a comparable qualification
• bring several years of experience in social work counseling, individual case support, and independent case management
• enjoy moving between individual case work, network work, and interdisciplinary cooperation
• actively contribute your expertise and enjoy developing new approaches and services together with the team
• communicate confidently and empathically with people from different backgrounds and stakeholder groups
• work independently, structured, and solution-oriented and enjoy taking responsibility
• ideally bring knowledge or experience in social-spatial or socio-cultural work
• possess a driving license Cat. B
