Project Manager Surface Waters and Water Uses (80 %) #

Your tasks

• Monitoring of water quality with a focus on nutrients, pesticides, wastewater tracers, PFAS and macrozoobenthos
• Development of flow measurements
• Evaluation and approval of requests for the use of surface waters, including agricultural irrigation, heat/cold use and wastewater
• Technical support for current challenges such as the digitization of water monitoring, climate change and extreme events such as drought
• Participation in the claims service
• Collaboration with specialized services in the fields of fishing, hydraulic engineering, revitalizations, nature protection, contaminated sites, wastewater and agriculture.

Your profile

• University studies in natural sciences with knowledge of aquatic systems
• Professional experience in water protection
• Interest in a wide range of subjects from data management (e.g. RStudio, GIS) to technical and legal issues
• Good ability to assimilate, networked thinking, communication ease in German
• Taste for interdisciplinary teamwork
