Specialized Security Officer - Fire Protection West Region 80-100%, Ecublens

In order to strengthen our Security sector, RTS is recruiting a Specialized Security Officer in fire protection, ideally possessing complementary skills in MSST/STPS, security and/or event security.

Your mission ####

Reporting to the Security Manager West Region, you will actively contribute to risk prevention as well as the protection of people and infrastructure at the various sites and productions of the SRG SSR West Region.

As the West Region is also a Safety Champion at the national level, you will contribute to the development and sharing of best practices in the fields of fire protection and occupational safety.

Main responsibilities:

• Ensure the monitoring of fire protection and ensure compliance with AEAI regulations.
• Monitor fire safety installations and equipment and identify any non-conformities.
• Develop and maintain instructions, procedures, and intervention plans.
• Organize evacuation and first intervention exercises and ensure the monitoring of fire, rescue, and evacuation devices.
• Participate in risk analyses and the implementation of security devices for productions and events, with or without an audience.
• Participate, in your field, in layout, transformation, or construction projects.
• Participate in incident management, RETEX, and the monitoring of corrective measures.
• Advise and support business units and partners in searching for solutions adapted to field realities.
• Contribute to the MSST/STPS and Safety activities of the West Region and, depending on your profile, to certain security activities.
• Contribute to the sharing of Safety standards and best practices with other SRG SSR regions.

Your profile ####

• Federal Diploma of Security Officer required, in progress or equivalent training.
• Training in fire protection, good knowledge of AEAI regulations, and experience in risk prevention or management.
• Complementary experience in one or more of the following areas is particularly appreciated: MSST/STPS, fire services, security, technical environment, event security, or event organization and management.
• A field person, pragmatic, versatile and solution-oriented, capable of reconciling security, compliance, and operational needs.
• Good analytical and synthesis skills, with an ability to take a high-level view, structure issues, and develop concepts, standards, and recommendations in the Safety fields relevant to their expertise.
