Who we are

SailerClinic is a specialized private clinic for oral, maxillofacial and facial surgery in Zürich. We operate on jaws, faces and noses – reconstructively after accidents and illnesses as well as aesthetically, in an outpatient setting and in our own OR. We are a small team with short distances and doctors whom you know personally.

Who we are looking for

Our clinic is growing, and with it the billing. Therefore, we are looking for an experienced specialist who will independently manage and help shape our billing. With us, you are not one of many in a large billing department, but the person that everyone relies on.

Your tasks

• Record services and issue invoices to health insurance companies (KVG), accident insurance (UVG), IV, military insurance and private patients
• Assign services to the correct tariff: TARDOC, outpatient flat rate or dental tariff UV/MV/IV
• Write cost guarantees and follow up until an answer is received
• Create cost estimates for private patients
• Manage open items, reconcile payments and issue reminders
• Contact person for insurers, patients and our doctors regarding billing questions

What you bring with you

• Training as an MPA, medical, hospital or dental secretary or commercial training
• At least two to three years of experience in medical billing, e.g., in a hospital, at a health insurance company or accident insurance or in a surgical practice
• Secure knowledge of TARDOC and the outpatient flat rates
• Dental tariff UV/MV/IV
• Familiar with MiGeL, specialty list and laboratory invoices
• Precise, independent way of working and the tenacity to pursue open invoices until the end
• Knowledge of ametiq is a plus, but not a must
