As part of our office's development, we are looking for an HES civil engineer specializing in structures, ideally with 3 to 5 years of experience, to join our team.

You will have the opportunity to work on your own files, to participate in technical decisions and to concretely follow the realization of the works that you have studied.

YOUR ACTIVITY

Your activity will cover different phases of projects, from the initial studies to the monitoring of their realization.

In particular, you will be required to:

• Perform studies and dimensioning of load-bearing structures in reinforced concrete, steel and wood.
• Perform static calculations and verifications according to current SIA standards.
• Develop structural concepts and propose technical solutions adapted to project constraints.
• Prepare calculation notes, technical reports and documents necessary for the various SIA phases.
• Collaborate directly with draftsmen for the development of formwork plans, reinforcement and execution details.
• Ensure technical coordination with architects, specialized engineers and other mandatories.
• Participate in the preparation of tenders, analysis of offers and adjudications.
• Ensure technical monitoring of projects during the realization phase.
• Participate in site meetings, execution controls and exchanges with companies.
• Maintain relations with clients and the various partners of the project.
• Contribute to the development of working methods and the technical skills of the office.

Depending on your experience and evolution, you will be able to progressively take full responsibility for certain mandates, from design to their realization.

YOUR PROFILE

• HES civil engineering degree or equivalent training.
• Ideally 3 to 5 years of experience in an engineering office in Switzerland.
• Good knowledge of the calculation and dimensioning of load-bearing structures.
• Mastery of SIA standards and Swiss construction practices.
• Experience in reinforced concrete structures; knowledge of steel and wood is appreciated.
• Good mastery of usual calculation and dimensioning tools.
• Knowledge of BIM tools and Revit constitutes an advantage.
• Ability to manage several files and to organize your work autonomously.
• Rigorous, pragmatic personality oriented towards finding solutions.
• Good interpersonal skills and interest in exchanges with clients and partners.
• Very good mastery of French, both oral and written.
