Product Manager: Accessibility Services 80-100%, Place of work by agreement (German-speaking Switzerland)

Accessibility Services (AS) enables barrier-free access to SRG media and thus makes a concrete contribution to social participation in Switzerland. As a competence center, the department is responsible for the further development and use of subtitling, sign language, and audio description offerings.

Furthermore, AS is responsible for the customer and market dialogue, including the national customer center for offerings such as Sat-Access, Play+, and Login, as well as exchange with retailers and re-distributors, thereby ensuring that offerings and interfaces are consistently aligned with the needs of the audience and the market.

This is your contribution ####

As a Product Manager in the Product Management Accessibility Services team, you will actively shape the further development of our product portfolio in the areas of subtitling, audio description, and sign language.

• You develop the product vision, product strategy, and roadmap for products and services in the areas of subtitling, audio description, and sign language and prioritize requirements in close coordination with the Product Management management as well as relevant internal and external stakeholders
• You are responsible for the operational control of the product lifecycle from idea generation through introduction to the continuous further development of existing products
• You analyze user needs, market requirements, technological developments, and regulatory frameworks and derive product requirements and recommendations for action from them
• You ensure that product decisions are consistently aligned with user added value, corporate goals, and profitability, define relevant KPIs, and derive data-based optimization measures
• You support the planning and controlling of product and project budgets, create decision-making bases, and conduct cost-benefit analyses
• You coordinate cooperation between specialist departments, operations, technology, Product Owners, as well as internal and external stakeholders and ensure efficient implementation of product requirements
• You observe market, technology, and industry trends and promote a user-centered, agile, and data-based way of working in the product environment

This is how you inspire us ####

• Experience in product management or in a comparable function related to product, service, or project development
• Knowledge of or interest in methods of agile product management from strategic planning through roadmap design to operational implementation
• Experience in analyzing user needs, requirements, and key figures as well as the ability to derive concrete measures from them
• Experience in stakeholder management and in working with interdisciplinary teams
• Strong communication and moderation skills as well as the ability to bring together different interests
• Analytical, structured, and solution-oriented way of working
• High level of personal responsibility, implementation strength, and decisiveness
• Very good language skills in one national language, plus German or French at least at level B1 as well as English at level B1
• Experience in the media environment or in the field of Accessibility Services is an advantage, but not a requirement
